Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Treasury Analyst to assess, automate and de-risk the working capital technology processes and accounting for Science Exchange’s treasury operations. This position will report to the SVP of Finance & Accounting.
About you:
The ideal candidate will have a background in financial services or fintech accounting and treasury. You should be comfortable advising the organization on improving working capital flows in addition to maintaining current systems. This position works cross-functionally with operations and customer service; clear and intentional communications are a must. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter who is excited about the opportunity to work for a well-funded Life Sciences SaaS company at a unique inflection of growth and with a rapidly growing customer base. You should be ambitious, energetic, comfortable thinking on your feet and excited to work in a high-performance setting. The US-based salary range for this full-time position is $135,000-$175,000 DOQ. Our salary ranges are determined by the role and seniority level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay can be determined by additional factors including, but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

About the role:
- Overseeing daily treasury operations, maintaining and updating SOPs as required, communicating current process controls to all levels of the organization.
- Performing gap analysis versus scalability of current processes, assessing platform development needs, presenting proposed solutions to leadership.
- Ensuring transactional risk is minimized and SOC1 controls are adequate and fully documented.
- Maintaining SOC1 certification and driving an efficient annual audit process.
- Staying abreast of new guidance in the realm of treasury operations and financial services regulations.
- Researching and benchmarking best in class working capital technology and automation.
- Performing required working capital accounting processes and making process improvements.
- Assisting with ad hoc projects as requested
Specific qualifications & requirements:
- CPA certification required, CTP preferred
- Accounting license with minimum 3+ years relevant experience
- Public accounting experience preferred, preferably in fintech or banking sectors
- Strong technical skill set including experience with enterprise ERP systems; familiarity with Sage Intacct is strongly preferred, experience with Salesforce is desirable
- Strong analytical abilities
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication and organizational capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
- A self-starter with the ability to thrive in a quick adapting and high-growth environment
